This 90-minute in-home consultation is designed to provide a deep, clinical dive into your feeding journey. As a Registered Nurse and Breastfeeding Specialist, I combine clinical assessment skills with practical, heart-centered support to help you reach your feeding goals in the environment where you feel most at ease.
What Your Visit Includes:
Comprehensive Clinical Assessment: A full review of your medical history, birth story, and any current challenges for both parent and baby.
Oral & Anatomy Evaluation: A professional assessment of the baby’s oral anatomy (checking for function and restriction) and a maternal breast health assessment.
Weighted Feed: Using a professional-grade medical scale, we will perform a "pre and post" weight check to see exactly how much milk your baby is transferring during a session.
Hands-On Positioning & Latch: We will work together on various nursing positions tailored to your home’s furniture—whether it’s your favorite glider or your bed—to ensure a pain-free, effective latch.
Pump & Flange Optimization: I will assess your pump settings and provide professional flange sizing to ensure your equipment is working for you, not against you.
Customized Care Plan: You will receive a written, step-by-step clinical care plan at the end of our visit, which can also be shared with your pediatrician.
